Canopy by Hilton - Grand Rapids, MI
In August 2020, Canopy Grand Rapids Downtown, a new Hilton hotel, asked me to design a mural that represented the city of Grand Rapids. This is a request that I get often, and I take the time to do the research and get the details right. For this one, I took inspiration from the city's history as the epicenter of mid-century furniture design.
This mural graces the employee lounge, and the central message is a motto of sorts for the Canopy staff to remember their brand of hospitality.
